The leader of the labor exchange from July 1942. The content is about the operationg conditions for "Ostarbeiter", so Eastern slave workers.

On the offered document is a postmark from 21. July 1942 as well as the stamp prints "labor exchange in Bergisch-Gladbach - Chancellery" and "Frei durch Ablösung Reich".

The text reads:

The leader of the labor exchange as agent of the German reich trustee for labor for the economy area in the Rhineland

matter: operating conditions for East workers who are employed with you

Enclosed you will find an attachment by the German Reich trustee for labor for the economy area in the Rhineland from 11. July 1942, who clearly determines which monthly expenses you will have for your employed East workers, concerning salaries, free accommodation and free meals. In case that your company cannot provide free meals for the East workers who have the right for, I suggest that you create cooking facilities as compensation for them and that you provide them free foodstuff. I request you to follow this order with the begin of the new month. Concerning the previous period, you will still get more detailed orders. It will also be ordered who to handle the payment for your East workers, concerning piecework. Ink signed by a Government Inspector and stamp print "The leader of the labor exchange as agent of the German reich trustee for labor for the economy area in the Rhineland"
